Race
car driver Geoff Bodine and Matt Bodine take their
bobsled thru turn 10 of the Olympic Bobsled
Track at Lake
Placid, N.Y., Friday, Jan 6, 2006. The Bodines and others were
taking part in the Geoff Bodine Bobsled
Challenge to
raise funds for the U.S. Olympic Team.
Todd Bodine won the first pole of the new year on
Friday, and he was greeted with hisses and catcalls when
he crossed the finish line. The fix wasn't on at the
Chevrolet Geoff Bodine Bobsled Challenge. It only seemed
that way. Bodine beat nine other current or former
NASCAR drivers through 17 turns on the 6-year-old track
at the Verizon Sports Complex on Mount Van Hoevenberg.

11/01/05
- Introduced the new Geoffrey Bodine's Waxing Frenzy! at SEMA in Las Vegas.
Many of Geoff's fans came by, bringing various forms of memorabilia and
collectibles for Geoff to autograph. Geoff and Jessie (Sales Coordinator
for Waxing Frenzy!) were interviewed by Speed Freaks.

09/16/05
Waxing Frenzy! Vice-President, Rob Amos, hauled the Bo-Dyn Bobsled to New
Hampshire International Speedway. He and Geoff met with drivers and press
to promote the upcoming Bobsled Challenge in January. They were fortunate
to sign several more drivers to participate in the event. Among the new
drivers are Tony Stewart, Ken Schrader, Kyle Petty, Travis Tvapil, Deborah
Renshaw, Jeff Burton, and Brendan Gaughan.

08/17/05
Geoff came to Virginia Beach to participate in a golf tournament to benefit
Make-A-Wish. He and his teammates from Mohawk Marketing finished in second
place!

08/12/05
Rob met Geoff in Watkins Glen with the Bo-Dyn Bobsled. They held a press
conference to discuss the upcoming NASCAR/Bobsled race in
Lake
Placid during the first weekend in January. Geoff also stopped by a nearby
short track to sign some autographs....a LOT of autographs!

080405 Geoff
appeared on NASCAR Nation from Langley Speedway. Craig (host of NN)
focused on Geoff's involvement with the bobsled and his new
Geoffrey Bodine
Waxing Frenzy! products!
08/04/05 Geoffrey made his debut on ESPN!
Geoff has been hired as the Racing Analyst for ESPN. Tonight, he was
broadcasting live from Indianapolis,
where he pretty much let Dale Jr. and Jeff
Gordon fans know that they don't stand much of a chance winning the championship
this year.
07/30/05 Geoff raced at Langley Speedway.
Unfortunately, engine problems did not allow him to finish.
Check out the pictures here.
06/30/05 - Geoffrey
Bodine will race at Langley Speedway, Hampton, Virginia....returning to his
roots! On July 30th, Geoff will drive the #97 Steve Burke
Racing Monte
Carlo, currently being driven by Craig Brown. We are bringing the Bobsled
up and proceeds from sales of special event t-shirts and raffles will
go toward
the Bo-Dyn Bobsled Project. Waxing Frenzy! will unveil Geoff's product
line.... Check back here daily for updates.
Geoff decided to part ways with the #72 MacDonald Motorsports team. Look for him to make an appearance near you! Check
back here for details.
05/04/05 - DOVER was good
to the #72 Vector Security Chevrolet! A wet, wet weekend forced the Busch
series to skip qualifying. This put Geoffrey in the
40th starting
position. After avoiding several potential wrecks, Geoff managed a 21st
place finish! Looks like things are looking up for MacDonald Motorsports.
Following are some pictures from the weekend.....

These 2 guys are Bodine fans from Connecticut. I'd
be happy to post their names if they send them to me.
If anybody knows them, please let
them know they are here. I promised I'd put them on our site.
05/13/05 - Carb problems
again....Geoffrey failed to qualify at Richmond. We managed to get some great
shots of the Vector Security Chevrolet before and
during practice.

05/06/05 - Geoff will be
running the #72 car tonight from Darlington. Best of luck, Geoffrey!
04/23/05 - Geoff started the race in the 39th position,
after qualifying 32nd. A leaky carb had to be replaced before the race.
If you didn't see the race, you
missed Geoffrey moving through the field like a
hot knife through butter! The car was running great. Sadly, in lap
26, Geoffrey hit the brakes (hard) and spun
the car to avoid a major wreck.
In doing so, he locked up the transmission and was out of the race for 35 laps.
He returned to the field in lap 61 and finished
in 34th place. It was a
pleasure to watch him race. The car looked strong. Hats off to Geoff
for his skillful driving in avoiding the wreck. It had the potential
for a
bad one. Experience prevails!

This last one is my personal favorite!
04/16/05 - Texas: Geoffrey hit some bad air in lap 142
and spun around the corner, hitting the inside wall on the backstretch. He
finished 9th, but ended up
with a 38 place finish after Johnny Sauter was
disqualified for an illegal carburetor. Looking forward to Phoenix!
04/14/05 - Geoffrey
qualified 32nd to run in the O'Reilly 300 at Texas Motorspeedway this Saturday
at 2:00 pm. He's running a new car with a new paint
scheme (red, white,
and blue)! We're wishing him the best of luck and pulling for a strong
finish for his birthday!
04/04/05 - You can't keep a good man down!
Geoffrey finished 29th today despite several "encounters" that sent 2
drivers to the "penalty box". You would
think they would know
better! It was definitely a BRISTOL race! This picture is the result
of Martin Truex, Jr.'s blatant hit to Geoff's rear in lap 183 (the 10th
caution
of the day). Truex wax penalized a
lap by NASCAR officials. Reportedly, he said on his radio, "I don't care
who he is, nobody's gonna race me like
that and get away with it". In
lap 145, Johnny Sauter hit Geoff and put him in the wall. NASCAR officials
held him for 2 laps to (think about what he had
done)! He then had to do a
"drive through" for exiting pit road wrong! Now I ask...do you believe in Carma? Don't mess with Geoff!

04/04/05 - The Bristol
Busch race was rained/snowed out on Saturday and is now scheduled to race today
(Monday) at 10:30. Look for the Frenzy! logo to
the right of the #72!
03/26/05 - Geoffrey
started 37th in Nashville today and finished 21st! This was the best
finish the team has had! Geoff is headed to Bristol to race Saturday.
03/17/05
THIS JUST IN....Geoff
is in Atlanta now! He'll be racing in the Busch Series this Saturday in
the #72 MacDonald Motorsports
Chevy! The car had been driven by Eric
Norris. Good luck, Geoff! Hopefully, this will lead to a ride for
the rest of the season.
W
07/19/2004: Rob is with Geoff and the #34 team in Indy (testing). So far, the report on the car is good. We are also testing new
products on the car; we'll keep you posted on the results!
07/19/04 6:00 pm - Geoff is 4th fastest in practice at Indy!!! This is great news as there are a lot of teams testing (Tony Stewart,
Bobby Labonte, Ryan Newman, Sterling Marlin, Dale Jarrett...to name a few).
08/21/04 Geoff took time out of his busy schedule to
participate in our Poker Run, which benefited Samaritan House (a shelter
for
victims of domestic violence). He even let us auction him off!
The
boat pictures were from a Yacht donated (for the day) by Ryan White of Marine
Concepts. Luckily, Geoff held up great (though he is definitely a
landlubber)! I'm surprised he didn't get writer's cramp. Must be
used to it by now. He must have signed every hat and shirt on board!
We had an awesome dinner at Bruitti's in Portsmouth, VA.
The staff was
thrilled to have Geoff there, especially Stacy! We were so fortunate to have Geoff
with us and we hope he had half
as good a time as the people around him.
His smile is contagious.

02/02/05 Rob went to visit Geoff and snapped a few shots
of his shop. Notice the spontaneous placement of Waxing Frenzy! on his
car?

02/10/05 Don't miss Geoff this Saturday night in
the Bud Shootout. He'll be driving the #93 GIC Racing
Team Chevy. He
is also attempting to qualify for the Daytona 500 on Sunday!
GOOD
LUCK, GEOFF!
Daytona was not good to Geoff.
Just didn't have the car to run in a restrictor plate race. It all comes down
to the money (or lack thereof).
Hopefully, Geoff will be able to secure
sponsorship needed to run competitively.
03/07/05 We met Geoff at his shop and took some
pictures. You could spend weeks there and still not see everything.
So many accomplishments! Hope
you enjoy the "peek" inside....
